If you have teeth that are crowded, too far apart or have shifted since wearing conventional braces, Invisalign® at Gunn Dental Care may give you a new reason to smile!

The clear trays are nearly invisible, meaning almost no one will know you are wearing Invisalign®. So, you can smile more during as well as after your treatment.

The convenience and ease of use have made it the choice of over half a million people, giving hundreds of thousands of people amazing new smiles.

How Does It Work?

Using the latest advances in 3-D computer technology and digital scanners, Invisalign® uses our input to create a series of custom-made, removable clear aligners.

These will apply a controlled amount of force to your teeth, encouraging them to move. Each aligner is slightly different, moving your teeth gradually into the desired position.

You can remove Invisalign® aligners so you can eat and drink as you like, and studies have shown that doing this can be better for your dental hygiene during treatment.

With no metal or sharp edges, Invisalign® is comfortable to wear and does not cause allergies. It is safe to use with children, adolescents, and adults.

How Long Will Invisalign® Take?

Invisalign® only works while you wear the aligners. We recommend you wear them during the day and throughout the night.

We will alter the aligners every 2 weeks, moving your teeth by the millimetre week on week until you reach your desired smile. The length of treatment varies, depending on your case.

The average Invisalign® treatment can take up to 3-8 months. During the treatment, you should visit us periodically until it is determined that your treatment is complete. There may be some fine-tuning to get your perfect smile.
